Tristan Hay, Interior Designer 

Tristan Hay Design is an independent design consultancy delivering a variety of design services. From initial visualisations, concept work, construction services and project management, to sourcing the perfect one-off pieces to create a truly personalised interior. 

Utilising his experience and expertise in building, property development, space management and design, Tristan set up an interior design practice in 2008. Tristan has since built up an excellent reputation with many repeat clients. His extensive background working as an interior designer and in the property industry has seen him work on projects as diverse as bars, ski chalets, new build houses and a variety of renovations.

The Interior Design Studio is located in rural Northamptonshire. Tristan Hay Design as well as working on projects locally, in the neighbouring counties and Birmingham, also takes on many clients in London.

Recent projects have included the design of a new London meat restaurant, a 1930’s period renovation and a full design and build property in Northamptonshire.

Tristan Hay Design’s company ethos is derived from taking investments in property seriously; we create truly original designs though combining expertise and originality whilst working closely with our clients.  Attention to detail is key to how we work, this ranges from the practical performance of a design, the aesthetic appeal, through to the manner in which is the design is implemented. Throughout the entire process we are constantly assessing our designs to ensure they are exactly as the client desires.

Tristan confesses to being obsessed with Interior Design, whether its fusing old with new, focusing on the finest detail, sourcing new up to the minute products, specifying contrasting textures, creating the desired atmosphere or developing a cutting edge lighting scheme. He is particularly interested in design innovation and utilising the increasing number of environmentally friendly products available within his designs.
